This module is designed as a complete application that integrates every aspect of a fabrication plant: barlist entry and import from detailing, scheduling, tag and barlist printing, load dispatch and dashboard, and shipping.

Optimization

The Optimization module calculates the most efficient and cost-effective method to fabricate a selected group of orders by finding the lowest cost method from user-entered data about actual labor cost vs. material cost.

  • Select orders to fabricate from database of orders in Production
  • Fabrication schedules quickly created by selecting steel from orders in any time period, from one or more jobs
  • Unique ability to find the lowest cost method, considering both scrap and labor cost, not just scrap minimization

Mill Certs

The Mill Certs module tracks original mill heats and paperwork from inventory to fabrication for each project while also providing the ability to generate printable, single-packet PDFs for each shipment.

Freight Tracking System

The Freight Tracking System tracks loads from your fab shop to the job site using GPS and the driver's mobile device to provide ETAs, status updates, and delivery confirmation.

  • Works with simple app download and one-time acceptance by the driver
  • Automatically calculates ETA from GPS location with warnings for late loads
  • Track loading and unloading times at the job site
  • Automatically displays confirmation when a load arrives at the job site

Barcode Scanning

The Barcode Scanning module provides real-time fabrication, loading, and delivery scans. Internet-connected scanners can also work and collect data offline, sharing stored data when back online.

  • Shop Equipment: scan inventory bundles and production tags to track inventory usage, mill heat assignments, and operator or machine productivity
  • Production Loading: scan each production tag as loaded on the trailer. One scan of the BOL shows all tags on that load.
  • Delivery Scanning: scan bundles as delivered with GPS tracking of delivery location
  • Physical Inventory: create a snapshot of current inventory. Operators scan all bundles and automatically send results to the office.

Proof of Delivery (POD)

Streamline load tracking and eliminate paperwork and calls by accepting electronic signatures for deliveries. Once a load is signed for at the jobsite, the load status is automatically updated in the office and the signed BOL is automatically attached to the load.

    Shop prints BOL with unique QR code

    Every load leaves your yard with a bill of lading tied to a QR code. No two loads carry the same code.

    Driver scans QR, views and signs on mobile

    No app install. Any smartphone with a camera loads the signing page. The signature is captured in the browser.

    Driver photographs the delivered load

    Photos are attached to the delivery record directly from the phone. Proof of condition lives with the BOL.

    Load auto-marked Shipped and Delivered

    The status flips in Soule Production the moment the signature lands. Your office sees it in real time.

    The signed document is available in the office dashboard and auto-attached to the invoice at billing time.

Counter Sales

The Customer Portal module integrates with your website to accept online orders from your customers and provide them access to download their own paperwork and review ETAs and delivery status on orders.

Inventory and Purchase Orders

The Inventory and Purchase Order module helps to track and manage both your bundle stock inventory and non-rebar items from the generation of POs through the relief of inventory and reporting on usage, with real-time inventory reporting and automated email alerts of low inventory levels.
